Our Mission:
|
Pro-Tech-Ag seeks to serve our clients-agricultural producers
and agri-businesses with expert advice, integrity and confidentiality.
|
Our Philosophy:
|
I believe that the conduct of our business must reflect my
personal view that man has a cultural mandate to subdue nature,
to be stewards of our natural resources, and to honor the Lordship
of Jesus Christ.
Therefore, we adhere to an integrated approach to crop and
pest management. We also believe that resistance management is
an important and integral part of agricultural pest management
that can prolong the availability of the necessary tools we use
to manage crop pests.
We further see our services in light of Colossians 3:17.
|
Who We Are:
|
Pro-Tech-Ag is dedicated to thorough service with integrity
and confidentiality based upon the most up-to-date information
available to our clients. We are also dedicated to giving recommendations
that will improve our client's profitability. All recommendations
are made based upon specific needs and goals set by each individual
client.
What's the big deal with independent? We say that we are "independent"
crop consultants for a reason. Pro-Tech-Ag consultants do not
receive any compensation from the sale of any crop-input product.
This prevents our interest from being motivated away from our
client's interests.

About our Staff:
|
John M. Kimbrough proves
his personal dedication to clients and the profession
by his involvement in practical agriculture. He owns and manages
a small multi-crop farm in central Mississippi, a portion of which
serves as an independent contract research facility.
He is nationally certified as Certified Professional Crop Consultant-Independent
and Certified Crop Advisor. These certifications require a professional
history in adherence to a strict code of ethics. In addition,
applicants must pass required tests and meet experience requirements.
Once certified, annual compliance with the ethical code and comprehensive
continuing education is required.
Finally, each consultant
is licensed to practice IPM in Mississippi.
